Mr. Ojung Longdare is an environmental and social safeguards specialist with over Twenty Two (22) years of experience in environmental consulting. He has led teams of experts in undertaking numerous assignments on environmental and social impact assessments, Climate change impact & vulnerability assessments, risk assessments and environmental auditing. He has also participated as an environmental specialist in teams of experts from Easter and southern Africa, USA, Europe and Asia in undertaking special assignments related to project appraisals, feasibility studies and designs of rural development programs implemented in Tanzania and Kenya. Regarding his academic qualification, Mr. Longdare holds a Master’s degree in Community Economic Development from the Southern New Hampshire University of USA and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Dar es salaam, Tanzania. Currently, he is the Director and Lead Consultant at Assess Consulting Company Limited based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
