Professional Bio

Having over five years’ experience in delivering quality tax compliance and advisory services. Currently working for Breakthrough Advisory Services as a Senior Tax Associate. Have also worked for KPMG in the same area of taxation as a senior tax advisor. Along my career path, I have gained vast experience in assisting a range of clientele with tax reviews, tax due diligence, tax planning, tax training, tax compliance, day-to-day tax advice, transfer pricing assignments and involved heavily in TRA audits up to and including the Appeals Tribunal. This has been possible through embarking on the knowledge of the tax laws and practices and further creating beneficial working relationships within the TRA while placing himself at a much-advantaged position of identifying areas of potential dispute with the TRA. I am a holder of a bachelor’s degree of science in Mining Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam. I am also a member of the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) and a Registered Tax Consultant with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA).
